Vigil
in Paris for Leonard Peltier
"The world is
watching the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals! We want justice for
Leonard Peltier!"
On September
17th, 2003, (two days prior the hearing in Denver) around 40 people
gathered in Paris (France) in front of the U.S. Consulate, calling
for freedom and justice for Leonard Peltier.
People held
banners and posters calling for freedom for Leonard Peltier and
stating that "The world is watching the U.S. 10th Circuit Court
of Appeals! We want justice for Leonard Peltier".
Several
representatives of human rights NGOs were present at this vigil,
including: the CSIA-Nitassinan, the LPSG-France, the COSIMAPP, the
National Committee to Save Mumia Abu Jamal, The Concorde Network, the MRAP.....
Thank you for all
the Peltier's supporters who were present in Paris to show their
solidarity with Leonard.
